It’s been awhile… I really should be better about updating my blogs, but grad school is still a time-munching Troggle >_<
Anyways, I've been on a bit of an Arashi kick lately, having found a renewed appreciation for them. Probably helps that I've become better friends with one of the first years who is a biiiiig Arashi fan, and we sit and watch LQ recordings of their TV shows together during lunch XD Part of it might also just be that my enthusiasm for Hello! Project is waning far a variety of reasons, and I needed to replace it with something else. Or maybe looking at hot guys is after all more enjoyable for me than looking at hot girls… I don't know 😛 In any case, a new fandub, of an Arashi song!!
Actually, I'm trying out something new here… instead of my usual recording routine (separate vocals, mixing with instrumental), I figured I'd try doing a live singing video. I still haven't decided if it's a good idea or not… I always think I look stupid on camera, and I'll probably eventually still do a polished recording of this song because as awesome as my mic is, it's only really awesome when I'm actually singing into it…
But here is Arashi's "Hero" because it's such an uplifting and encouraging song, and really expresses part of the onslaught of emotions I've been feeling in the last couple of weeks.
